Objective: To avoid children being left unattended at home when the parents need temporary relief

Form of Service: Providing longer hours of child care assistance

Programme: Serving supper or dinner; play, story time and other activities will be arranged

Service Hour: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 8:00 am and 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm (closed on school holidays and public holidays)

Target Group:Children aged two to six who are physically and intellectually sound

Fee: $13 per hour (can be settled on a monthly basis)

*Payment should be made in advance for reservation and is non-refundable unless the service is suspended by the school in case of unexpected circumstances and the fee for the involved hour(s) will be refunded.*

Application:

1.   Parents have to register in person from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, or call for reservation before 4:45pm and complete the formalities before receiving the service; with places still available, immediate application would be accepted on-site
2.   Bring along the original and a photocopy of the child’s Birth Certificate
3.   A copy of Identity Card of either parent is needed as well; guardians should have Parental Authorization Letter with them
4.   Application shall be made not more than one month in advance

Severe Weather Procedures Typhoons / Tropical Cyclone No. 1 & No. 3 Typhoon Signal

Centre operates as usual No. 8 Typhoon Signal or above Centre will be closed

When No. 8 Typhoon Signal is cancelled before 7:00 am Centre operates as usual

When No. 8 Typhoon Signal is cancelled from 7:00 am onward and before 1:00 pm

Centre will be opened two hours thereafter

When No. 8 Typhoon Signal is cancelled at or after 1:00 pm Centre will be closed

When No. 8 Typhoon Signal is issued during service hours Parents should arrange their children to be picked up as soon as possible

Heavy Persistent Rain   

Red Rainstorm Warming    Centre operates as usual

Black Rainstorm Warming    Centre will be closed

Black Rainstorm Warning is cancelled before 7:00 pm     Centre operates as usual

Black Rainstorm Warning is cancelled from 7:00 am onward and before 1:00 pm

Centre will be opened two hours thereafter

Black Rainstorm Warning is cancelled at or after 1:00 pm Centre will be closed

Black Rainstorm Warning is issued during service hours Centre remains in service
